Job Description
Applied Systems, Inc., the worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently looking for a Manager of Portfolio Implementations who will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing business operations across the Portfolio Implementation team. This team is responsible for onboarding customers to a vast array of software solutions that make up the extended Applied solution portfolio. They often engage with Applied's most strategic customers to implement new products, onboard new users, optimize the setup and use of these solutions, and perform technical migrations for existing users.
The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned team leader, has experience in insurance and with Applied software, highly driven, and possesses an innovative approach and strategic acumen.
What You'll Do

  • Effectively manage, lead, and motivate team members, leveraging your proven track record of successful people leadership experience
  • Effectively manage productivity, quality, and customer service standards of a diverse team of Customer Implementation Specialists
  • Strategize and execute business process improvement strategies through detailed needs analysis and gap assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create process alignment across various project types to meet business objectives
  • Work with business leaders on customer journey mapping and process improvement for defined Applied products
  • Develop operational methodologies to improve quality with a customer-centric approach
  • Monitor and report team tasks effectively and accurately
  • Guide team members in learning updated procedures, empowering them to spot enhancement opportunities
  • Implement quality assurance methodologies to ensure consistency in extended solution offerings
  • Update management and key stakeholders on process improvement activities through progress reports
  • Efficiently manage team resources to balance workloads and meet project timelines
  • Stay updated about customer needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies related to SaaS onboarding and customer success
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Applied Epic product portfolio and various customer journeys


What You'll Need to Succeed
We're looking for someone who:

  • Can work 100% remotely or from an Applied Systems office


Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • 3+ years of experience leading and building teams, particularly in a remote environment
  • Experience within the insurance industry
  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement management
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and experience with process improvement techniques for a variety of customer journeys
  • Proficiency in using business software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Influential leadership and team-building skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Business, Management, or related disciplines
