Position Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Sales Operations, we seek a dedicated and results-driven Sales Development Manager to lead our Business Development and Sales Development teams. The ideal candidate will manage and motivate the teams to achieve sales-qualified lead targets and drive pipeline growth. As the Manager, you will be pivotal in leading and nurturing the team to reach its full potential and achieve remarkable sales results.
Key Accountabilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, empower, and develop a team of business development and sales development representatives to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the team's performance, providing feedback, coaching, and training as needed.
  • Team Building: Recruit, onboard, and train new co-op, contract, and full-time team members
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing leadership team to develop and implement effective outreach strategies to drive pipeline growth.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine and optimize team tools and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Sales Metrics: Track and report key sales metrics, such as SQLs, conversion rates, call activity, and pipeline projections.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on performance and strategy for senior management.
  • Market Research: To make informed decisions, stay current with market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment in achieving company goals.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Exceptional coaching and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools. We use Salesforce and Outreach.  
  • Results-oriented with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets
