We are currently looking for a Marketing Communications Intern at our Calgary base in the Marketing and Communications department.
While you may not be flying the helicopter or providing patient care, as a member of STARS’ MarComms team, you will play an important role in STARS’ life-saving mission. Be part of something bigger. Be part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in the development and support of go to market strategies for signature events
- Support with social media content creation and writing copy
- Support with digital strategy and execution
- Writing internal articles
- Writing comms plans and news releases for signature events
- Writing and creating content for marketing publications
- Support with strategy and marketing for Lottery in various markets
- Writing content for marketing publications
- Support on PR and marketing campaigns
- Must be able to work on-location to help with content creation
- Photography and videography - an asset not a requirement
- New grad or student currently enrolled in a post secondary institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a mature, professional, and calm demeanor.
- Advanced time management skills, ability to thrive with multiple priorities of focus.
- Basic understanding of brand, marketing and communications best practices
- Understanding of Adobe Suite and Microsoft 365 is an asset
