Marketing Operations Lead

Location: London / Windsor (FlexFirst hybrid working)

Overview

The Chief Customer Office drives commercial growth across Centrica Retail through exceptional customer experiences and compelling product and service propositions.

We’re seeking a strategic Marketing Operations Lead to optimise marketing processes and deliver operational excellence across all UK retail brands, including British Gas and Hive. This role focuses on planning, execution, and efficiency—ensuring marketing budgets and agency partnerships deliver maximum impact.

Expect to be in London once a week in the office.

About the role

  • Lead marketing financial forecasting and budget management, partnering with finance to track and optimise spend.

  • Manage agency relationships, scopes of work, and performance against KPIs.

  • Drive process improvements and standardised ways of working across marketing, finance, procurement, and legal.

  • Provide clear, data-driven reporting to inform decisions and enhance ROI.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in marketing operations and cross-functional project leadership.

  • Expertise in managing and forecasting multi-channel marketing budgets.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to use insights to optimise performance.

  • Skilled in building collaborative relationships with stakeholders and partners.

  • Ability to streamline processes and ensure governance and efficiency.
