Position Summary

The role of a Senior Buyer, Investment is to prepare, negotiate and document the execution of all client’s media buys within the Investment group. The Senior Buyer will train and provide guidance to all Assistant Buyers in the group as well as support the Supervisor/Manager in preparing all written documentation to the Planner or Client (e.g. pre-buy/post-buy reports, media evaluations/recommendations, and other pertinent documentation). 

This role requires you to work as part of an integrated media investment team to ensure the product is grounded in insights and experience, resulting in flawless media executions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Take lead on executing complex digital campaigns ensure that the correct digital tracking is employed and naming conventions are followed
  • Oversee multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously, with a focus on effectively managing priorities. This includes adhering to pre-determined timelines while also adapting to evolving project requirements and adjusting timelines as needed
  • Manage and maintain the digital dashboard ensuring that all metrics are accurate
  • Collaborate closely with the planning team to develop media recommendations and wrap/post reports
  • Provide guidance and direction to the planning team on digital activation best practices under the campaign/client parameter(s)
  • Monitor and provide optimizations against client’s campaign digital objectives

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with a programmatic & social team not limited to direct vendors and/or in-house specialized business unit (Display & social)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in digital media
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively across different internal and external teams
  • Experience in training junior employees on different platforms relating to digital execution
  • Strong digital analytical and financial acumen
  • Experience in trafficking different types of digital media with an Ad-Operations contact by inputting and completing agency standardized traffic sheets
  • Experience in pulling reports in Google’s Campaign Manager (CM360)
  • Knowledgeable in the relationship of dataflow and process between Prisma and Google’s Campaign Manager (CM360)
  • Proficient in Prisma for contract building and trafficking to an adserver
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
