About the Job:
As a member of the Capco Technology Delivery Team, you’ll bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. As a Java AI Developer, you’ll use your experience and skills to contribute to the quality and implementation of our software products for our customers.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Develop and optimize Java-based applications that integrate Generative AI models for text, image, and multimodal processing.
- Work with APIs and SDKs from OpenAI, Hugging Face, Google Gemini, or other GenAI platforms to embed LLM capabilities into applications.
- Build microservices and APIs to serve GenAI-powered functionalities at scale.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to fine-tune and deploy custom language models.
- Optimize GenAI solutions for performance, cost-efficiency, and security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI pipeline optimizations to enhance application capabilities.
- Stay up to date on emerging LLMs, vector databases, and AI tooling to bring cutting-edge solutions to the team.
What You’ll Bring with You:
- 2+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs and frameworks such as OpenAI API, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Experience integrating Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Claude, Gemini) into applications.
- Experience working with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) for RAG-based applications is a plus
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for AI innovation.
- Willingness to work in the New York office 3 days per week.
