The Military Workforce Program Manager will lead and execute strategy, partnerships, and measurable outcomes for TRIMEDX’s military and veteran talent initiatives. Building on TRIMEDX’s longstanding commitment to the armed forces, this role designs and delivers targeted programs that strengthen our employer brand with transitioning service members and increase return on talent investments. Partnering with key internal stakeholders, the Military Program Manager establishes governance, aligns and integrates related efforts, and expands outreach across Department of War installations to attract, hire, and support service members and veterans—advancing our mission to secure critical talent and be a best place to work.
Location: Eastern or Central Time Zone; with close proximity to a major airport. Our Central Office is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Position requires travel.

Responsibilities
- Strategy & Governance
- Set military programming strategy aligned to workforce and investment objectives
- Discern and design a strategy to integrate appropriate external partnerships who support intended approach (thought leaders, veteran assistance programs, state-run programs, etc.)
- Serve as centralized expert for military outreach and engagement
- Partnership & Outreach Leadership
- Own relationships with military bases, transition programs, and associations
- Act as primary point of contact for military‑related inquiries and connect to appropriate internal resources
- Lead SkillBridge and Virginia Values Veterans programming
- Influence internal stakeholder interest and recognize successful anecdotes
- Liaise with SERVE AIG to lead military transition advocate programming which includes:
- Out-processing expectations
- Career transition advice
- Build/expand network
- Advise on relocation practices and recommendations
- Resume and career transition workshops
- Develop social outreach framework including social media posts/engagement opportunities in coordination with marketing team to maintain brand standards
- Identify creative ways to engage with service members and build trust resulting in a strong referral pipeline
- Program Execution
- Lead on-base events in collaboration with TAPS programs to reach graduating/transitioning service members at career events, graduation ceremonies, etc.
- Build on-base schedule and be prepared to travel/attend representing TRIMEDX
- Map communication strategy with base‑level transition contacts (Airman & Family Readiness, Soldier for Life, etc.)
- Coordinate marketing/swag material needs
- Engage local representation from TRIMEDX operations to contribute to on base initiatives at locations, and align with workforce strategy to identify key/target markets based on skill need and target geographies, such as:
- Ft. Sam Houston, Ft. Lee, Ft. Hood, Ft. Bragg, Ft. Detrick etc.
- Lead on-base events in collaboration with TAPS programs to reach graduating/transitioning service members at career events, graduation ceremonies, etc.
- Support in planning annual partnership dinner inviting key partners and service members/schoolhouse instructors
- Lead Military Programming Committee made up of prior service members who are interested in contributing to outcomes
- Measurement & Reporting
- Define success metrics, track ROI, and report outcomes to leadership
- Define success metrics, track ROI, and report outcomes to leadership
- Internal Enablement
- Equip recruiters, leaders, and advocates in supporting veteran candidates and translating service member skills into career-ready impact in a civilian role
Skills and Experience
- 5–8 years in: Military transition programs, Workforce development or veteran hiring, Program or project management
- Military service or veteran status highly preferred
- Hands‑on ownership of programmatic outreach, partnership building, and metrics
- Data Analytics skills using PowerBI preferred
- Budget oversight and executive reporting experience preferred
- MS Office Suite experience including PowerPoint creation to represent program impact
- Health care or tech experience a plus
- Must be able to work independently
- Familiarity with federal regulation and private sector impacts
- High level of personal accountability and action
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills
- Excellent communication and influences skills
- Motivate partners, both internal and external, to support TRIMEDX’s mission of proving the best place to work for transitioning service members
- Creativity and sound judgement a must
- Travel may be required based on business needs
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business, Public Administration, Social Services, or related) or Equivalent experience accepted
- Valid driver’s license required; variable travel requirements may require use of personal vehicle
