Our Innisfail, Alberta manufacturing facility has an opening for a Millwright. As a member of the Mechanical Maintenance Team, you must have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- Fully Qualified Millwright with an Alberta Journeyman Millwright Trade Certificate or equivalent (Inter Provincial Seal preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years industrial plant maintenance experience
- Good communication skills
- Above average teamwork skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skill (Microsoft Office & Outlook)
- SAP Maintenance Management System experience is an asset
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- The successful candidate may be required to work a continuous 12-hour shift
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
- Implement preventative and predictive programs/assignments for mechanical systems
- Participate in post event analysis and root cause discussions and take part in developing solutions
- Commit to adhering to guidelines and maintaining technical and preventative records
- Review and apply a continuous improvement mindset to safe work practices, procedures, and standards
- Maintain equipment histories and complete equipment overhaul check sheets
- Work closely with other maintenance and/or operations as required and be willing to work by yourself to ensure equipment/plant reliability
The starting wage is $53.82 per hour.
