We are seeking a motivated co-op student to join the UE mobile device integration and support team in Ottawa. This position offers opportunities to work with colleagues around the world in development, integration, and verification, allowing for a diverse and enriching experience within our organization.
What you will do:
- Sanity test new and existing hardware and software.
- Support and troubleshoot mobile testing devices in our lab environment.
- Prepare and deliver mobile test devices to end users.
- Improve automation and inventory tracking solutions.
- Flashing, updating, and configuring mobile test devices.
The skills you bring:
- 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate,or Master's on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship.
- Be available to work 40 hours per week during the summer or Co-Op term.
- An academic background in science or engineering, computing.
- Strong interest in wireless communication, particularly in 4G and 5G technologies.
- Eagerness to engage with new and emerging technologies.
- Fundamental proficiency in any programming language such as Python or Java.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a self-motivated individual.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
