As a Modern Endpoint Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring flawless device experiences for over 10,000 endpoints across Ciena, supporting hybrid work at scale, and driving modern endpoint management strategies.
 

How You Will Contribute:

  • Architect and manage Microsoft Intune for Auto Pilot, device compliance, configuration profiles, app deployment, and endpoint security.

  • Optimize SCCM infrastructure, drive migrations to Intune, and enforce best practices for endpoint security, including BitLocker and Conditional Access.

  • Manage provisioning, deployment, and health monitoring of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.

  • Troubleshoot advanced endpoint issues, including hardware, OS, network, and application-related problems.

  • Collaborate with application teams to resolve system and application-related issues while ensuring secure access and user experience.

  • Conduct regular endpoint health assessments, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation using tools like SCCM, Intune, NexThink, and JAMF.

  • Prepare and deliver endpoint performance reports while providing Level 2/3 support for incidents and root cause analysis.

  • Participate in IT projects requiring endpoint expertise, create user manuals and SOPs, and execute change management procedures seamlessly.

  • Identify inefficiencies in endpoint management processes, apply Lean practices, and automate repeatable tasks to improve operational excellence.
     

The Must Haves:

  • 2–4 years of experience in endpoint or system administration.

  • Proficiency with enterprise endpoint management tools like SCCM, Intune, and JAMF.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, OS (Windows), network (LAN/WAN), and endpoint issues.

  • Proven experience managing Windows, iOS, macOS, and Android devices in enterprise environments.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Ability to provide off-hours/on-call support as needed and document issue resolution clearly.
     

The Assets:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Experience working with mission-critical services in high-availability environments.

  • Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server or web-based application support as a bonus asset.

Pay Range:
CDN, $63,100.00 - 100,900.00

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
