About the role
Reporting to the Manager of Learning & Development, Technology and Development, the Multimedia e-Learning Consultant actively contributes to the design and implementation of digital training solutions for insurance brokers and underwriters (personal and commercial lines). Working closely with subject matter experts and Strategist, they create engaging and effective eLearning courses, leveraging authoring tools, multimedia suites, and cutting‑edge AI technologies.
Main activities:
Participate in the ideation process and propose innovative instructional approaches
Design and produce multimedia learning resources tailored to learner needs and business contexts
Develop original and varied learning scenarios (microlearning, simulations, branched storytelling)
Create assessments and tests to measure participant competencies and progress
Select and use appropriate digital and technological tools for each mandate (including AI solutions for content generation/optimization, storyboarding assistance, and automation)
Integrate and synchronize text, images, audio, and video in an authoring tool (primarily Articulate 360 - Storyline and Rise)
Edit and optimize images; record and process audio
Manage projects (planning, milestones, tracking, risks) and communicate progress to the team
Produce motion design animations and rich interactions
Perform light programming/scripting (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; ActionScript is an asset)
Plan all stages of instructional material development and ensure quality, accessibility, and compliance (SCORM/xAPI)
Talents, experience, and technical skills:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in multimedia/e‑learning integration
Advanced proficiency with authoring tools
Strong knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition)
Experience with AI tools applied to e‑learning (e.g., script/voiceover generation, storyboard assistance, image/video creation, learning data analysis)
Knowledge of audio recording and processing tools
Knowledge of LMS and e‑learning standards (LMS, SCORM, xAPI, LRS)
Bilingualism (English/French) is required. Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking clients and colleagues across the country.
