National Sales Manager, Biologics
Location : Thornhill, Ontario
Job Description
Reporting to the Prescription Business Unit Lead, the Biologics, National Sales Manager is a key member of the Prescription Business Leadership Team. They are responsible for developing a clear sales execution plan with the purpose of delivering on the Business Unit sales targets and preparing for a new biologic launch in dermatology. The role will be an integral member of the cross functional team, understanding the brand goals and strategies and collaborating with marketing, medical and other key functions to meet the needs of our customers, deliver on business objectives and establishing Galderma as a leader and trusted partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish territory and national sales targets, and build insight driven business plans, including customer interaction targets to achieve sales goals
- Build a team of high performing sales professionals, including hiring, coaching, talent development and performance management that can consistently deliver results in a changing competitive market and landscape
- Proactively work with the sales training team, building and executing on a comprehensive training plan to develop and reinforce skills and capabilities
- Actively partner with marketing to shape brand/customer strategies and initiatives that drive
demand for Galderma products while meeting the needs of customers and their patients - Act as the voice of the sales colleagues, proactively sharing customer insights with cross
functional colleagues to shape the strategic plan - Build relationships with key customers across Canada, establishing a customer engagement plan and establishing Galderma as a trusted partner
- Use available data and analytics to assess territory performance, coach teams and make
decisions to achieve business goals - Adopt Galderma systems, champion usage with the sales team and proactively identify how the Business can best support system usage and extracting relevant insights
- Delivering a variety of administrative tasks timely and accurately.
- Demonstrating ethics and integrity while modeling behaviors consistent with company standards and policies for business and compliance related matters
- Report all adverse events as per corporate policy
- Other duties may be assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant University Degree in business administration or science
- Demonstrated success in leading sales teams to deliver on results
- Experience in Dermatology and specialty pharmaceutical sales
- Understanding of Canada’s access environment, and provincial access requirements for
biological treatments in dermatology - Experience working alongside a patient support program, and collaborating with program
colleagues - Proven ability to work cross functionally
- Excellent customer management skills, demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), fluency in English and French is an asset
- Able to manage through change, and ambiguity, while maintaining colleague engagement
- Understanding of key systems and software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Veeva and PowerBI
- Must maintain a high degree of integrity and ethics at all times
- Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
