Position: .NET Architect – Full Time Employee

Experience: 10+ years

Skills & Experience:

• Extensive proficiency in C# and the .NET Core / .NET Framework ecosystem

• Proven experience architecting and designing large-scale, multi-tiered web and mobile applications

• Deep understanding of PHP, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Razor Pages, and microservices architecture

• Strong background in SQL Server or other relational databases (including performance tuning, complex queries, and stored procedures)

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, Blazor, or similar

• Hands-on experience designing and delivering mobile applications using .NET MAUI, Xamarin, React Native, or other cross-platform mobile frameworks

• Experience integrating mobile apps with secure backend services (REST/GraphQL APIs), identity providers, and cloud platforms

• Expert knowledge of software architecture principles, object-oriented design, SOLID principles, DDD, and enterprise integration patterns

• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure; AWS/Oracle as a plus) and modern DevOps practices across web and mobile delivery pipelines

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor developers, and drive architectural best practices across web and mobile solutions

Technical Skills:

Backend:

• .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, gRPC; microservices (Docker/Kubernetes/AKS)

  Frontend (Web):

• PHP, Blazor, React or Angular, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3; component libraries; accessibility best practices

Mobile Application Development:

• Cross-platform mobile frameworks such as .NET MAUI / Xamarin, React Native, or equivalent

• Mobile UI/UX patterns, responsive design, and platform-specific considerations for iOS and Android

• Secure mobile app integration using OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, token-based authentication, and API gateways

• Mobile build, packaging, and distribution pipelines (App Store / Google Play; enterprise MDM where applicable)

• Performance optimization, offline data synchronization, and device capability integration (camera, biometrics, notifications)

Data:

• Azure SQL Server, MySQL; performance tuning; ETL/data integration; event-driven architectures

Azure & AWS Cloud:

• App Service / Container Apps, Azure Functions, Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure ML, Entra ID (Azure AD), Key Vault, Storage, Application Insights

DevOps:

• Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions; CI/CD for web and mobile applications; Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform); automated testing; observability and monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end architecture of complex web and mobile applications, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and maintainability

• Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices across backend, web, and mobile platforms; conduct architecture and code reviews

• Design secure, scalable APIs and integration patterns to support mobile and web clients

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architectures and delivery roadmaps

• Establish CI/CD pipelines and observability for web and mobile applications; define performance and reliability metrics

• Identify and resolve production and non-production issues; drive root-cause analysis and preventive improvements

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies (including mobile frameworks and platforms) and recommend adoption paths aligned to business value

• Mentor developers and leads; foster a culture of engineering excellence, documentation, and continuous improvement

Preferred / Desirable Experience (Nice to Have):

• Experience integrating Azure OpenAI Service or Azure Cognitive Services into .NET applications (prompt design, content grounding, content filtering)

• Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using Azure AI Search or vector-capable databases (e.g., Milvus, Weaviate, Pinecone)

• Building AI-enabled features such as semantic search, summarisation, classification, or conversational agents within enterprise portals or mobile apps

• Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning (AML) pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment; MLOps practices

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric / Synapse for data engineering and AI workloads, and Purview for data and AI governance

• Experience with offline-first or occasionally-connected mobile architectures

• Performance tuning and cost optimization across web, mobile, and cloud-native solutions

Certifications:

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure AI Engineer Associate, or equivalent multi-cloud certifications
