The ERP is a critical role responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting issues, providing end-user support, coordinating system upgrades, and ensuring the seamless functioning of the ERP environment to meet business requirements.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience with ERP systems or similar role
  • Certification in Oracle NetSuite is nice to have, but equivalent experience will be considered
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or post-secondary technical diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems is an asset, however equivalent experience will be considered
  • Experience with line of business applications and understanding the manufacturing business processes is preferred
  • A basic understanding of ERP system navigation and database schema
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate to technology solutions
  • Ability to translate “IT Speak” to business outcomes, understood by business decision makers
  • Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with multiple business units, mainly Finance, Sales, Manufacturing and Purchasing, to understand their business needs and problem solve operational issues
  • Primary point of contact for of NetSuite support
  • Interface with business units to gain a deep understanding of software requirements, look for integration and streamlining opportunities leveraging NetSuite
  • Use the required ERP configuration and analyzed business requirements to successfully optimize NetSuite support
  • Providing technical support and training ERP end-users
  • Developing user-friendly functionalities and interfaces
  • Performing diagnostic tests and resolving issues to optimize performance
  • Coordinate with related teams and departments to ensure optimal operation of NetSuite
  • Gather business unit requirements and translate to technology Solutions, designed to create efficiency, avoid risk, and improve security
  • Preparing development progress updates and documenting ERP processes
  • Key participant in release updates, new features, and new NetSuite features
  • Provide and / or arrange training as required
  • Develop effective relationships with NetSuite vendors and provide oversight to ensure successful day-to-day operations
  • Monitor and participate in the creation of automated jobs and data transformations
  • Analyze and support business requirements in NetSuite
  • Participate in change management in respect of applications and processes
  • Participate in quarterly compliance information gathering for applications
