A fantastic opportunity for Network Security Specialist, looking to be a part of a long term project with a leading IT Consultancy.


Skills

  • Strong experience in IT Production and/or Security, Network domains (ideally Network Security) – 8 years + preferred.
  • Solid technical knowledge in networking technologies: traditional firewalls (Fortinet/Checkpoint), Micro-segmentation, WAF (AVI/F5), IPS/IDS.
  • Experience in Firewall/security rule remediation.
  • Experience in rule review.

As the Network/Firewall and Security Rules Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and adjusting rules that are no longer compliant with current standards, engaging with application owners to either remove or modify rules.


Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to operational tasks, governance, and network security architecture assigned to the team (e.g., validating network flows, reviewing rules, updating network diagrams, reviewing architecture).
  • Providing daily support and maintenance for Network Security solutions.
  • Assisting with internal and external bank audits related to security platforms and tools.
