Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Operations team. In this crucial leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the Record Center and Transportation teams in a cost-effective manner while consistently meeting the needs of both internal and external customers.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage direct reports, including hiring, counseling, performing annual reviews, and overseeing daily scheduling and staffing to ensure optimal workforce deployment.

  • Optimize daily operations and transportation functions by planning work assignments, tracking team progress, analyzing production failures, and quickly executing solutions to remove barriers and produce positive results.

  • Ensure compliance and safety by creating and sustaining a safe working environment, conducting routine safety observations, assigning equipment/facility inspection schedules, and confirming that all Company standards and operating procedures are followed.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3–5 years of progressive operations management experience specifically within the logistics, transportation, and/or warehouse sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of operations management principles, including analyzing labor costs, managing expenditures (supplies, repairs), and making recommendations on equipment purchases.

  • Proven ability to independently evaluate and solve problems quickly during the course of the day to determine and act on the best course of action.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact routinely with internal and external customers both verbally and through written electronic communication.

  • Experience in direct leadership, including managing payroll, scheduling, counseling, and conducting annual reviews for a team.

  • Salary: 75k to 80k depending on the experience
