Job Description
Overview:
Reporting to the VP, Rewards, People Systems & Data, the People Data & Analytics, Specilaist, will play a critical role in managing and advancing the analytical capabilities of our People and Rewards function. This position is responsible for leading efforts in the integration, analysis, and reporting of all people-related data to drive strategic decisions. As a key partner to the HR business team, the Specialist will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute business requirements related to dashboarding, retroactive data, and predictive analytics.
The Specialist will own the development and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards to provide leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable insights. Additionally, this role will require advanced expertise in Excel for data manipulation, including writing complex macros, automating reporting, and optimizing data processes. The Specialist will also take ownership of analyzing and reporting on executive compensation, benefits, savings programs, and accruals, providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
As part of the team’s commitment to driving advanced analytics and predictive modeling, the Specialist will play a key role in shaping the future of People Systems data and supporting the ongoing evolution of HR analytics across the organization.
Key Deliverables:
Reporting Requirements:

Lead the development and optimization of Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to provide clear, interactive, and data-driven insights on compensation, benefits, employee lifecycle trends, and people data for senior leadership.

Leverage advanced Excel skills, including writing automated macros, advanced data processing, and building predictive models to streamline reporting and analysis.

Partner with HR Business Partners to understand business needs and define data requirements for dashboards, reporting, and retroactive analysis.
Data Ownership and Analysis:

Integrate people-related data from multiple internal systems, providing a holistic view of the employee lifecycle and offering insights into workforce trends and implications.

Drive the evolution of predictive analytics to forecast trends, behaviors, and outcomes related to compensation, benefits, and employee engagement.

Provide in-depth reporting and insights on compensation, benefits, and savings programs, supporting data-driven decision-making in alignment with business strategy.

Lead the integration, testing, and validation of people data into the development of the Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) system, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and seamless alignment with HR and business processes.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.
General Support and Administration:

Own the analysis, reporting, and strategic insights of executive compensation structures, including base salary, incentive plans, stock options, and other executive benefits.

Manage accruals related to compensation and benefits, ensuring accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and reconciliation of financial data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and IT to continuously enhance and refine People Systems, reporting processes, and analytics capabilities.
What You Bring:

Advanced proficiency in Power BI, with experience in building dynamic, interactive dashboards and automating data visualizations.

Expert-level Excel skills, including proficiency in macros, complex formulas, and data automation techniques.

Experience with accruals and an understanding of compensation and benefits accounting processes.

Proven ability to conduct advanced analytics and predictive modeling in a business environment, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.

Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working across teams and managing cross-functional projects.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in HR analytics, compensation & benefits analysis, or a related role.

Certification or training in Power BI, advanced Excel, or other relevant data analytics tools is a plus.
