We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced People Data and Insights Analyst to join our People and Culture team to build the data foundation required to turn complex data into strategic insights and initiatives.


As a Senior People Data and Insights Analyst, you'll be instrumental in building a robust data foundation for our organization. You'll collaborate closely with People Technology owners and the Enterprise Data Office to source, integrate, and manage critical people data within our data lake. At the start, your focus will be designing and developing data models that empower the People team and the broader business with rapid, insightful analytics. This role requires an understanding of data warehousing principles, balanced with a keen ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that directly fuel strategic people-centric decisions.

The successful candidate is passionate about people data, and stays on top of the latest best practices in analytics and reporting.


StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in the US and Canada for this position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with people technology owners (HRIS, LMS, other people related systems) to understand data structure, APIs and export capabilities.
  • Partner with the enterprise data office to bring people data into our data lake while ensuring data quality and adherence to data governance policies and standards.
  • Design and develop dimensional data models to optimize analytical reporting and dashboard performance.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to enable rapid analytics and support businesses in identifying trends, patterns and insights to support strategic decision making. 

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Passionate about people analytics and its purpose in driving employee experience.
  • A blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking and strong communication skills that prioritizes evidence based approach to decision making and influencing.
  • Experience in quantitative data engineering and analysis using Python, R, or Tableau.
  • A “how can we make this better?” mentality with a focus on progress over perfection to continuously drive for improvement and innovation.
