This is a unique opportunity to join a world class marketing team in a people manager role. As SOTI continues to grow, we need to reach more potential customers in the digital realm in innovative and effective ways with the main focus of driving closed/won new business. We are looking for a proactive individual with hands on experience in the major digital marketing platforms and a history of driving business through online marketing efforts. The right candidate will lead SOTI’s paid media and digital acquisition strategy, grow our online marketing footprint, and drive high quality leads for the business globally. First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is analytical and numbers focused and who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting hands on with campaigns while also managing and coaching a small team.

What You’ll Do

Leadership and strategy

  • Lead the paid media and performance marketing function, including directly managing Sr. Paid Search and other digital specialists

  • Own the strategy, planning and execution of SOTI’s paid digital programs to drive marketing qualified leads and pipeline globally

  • Own channel and campaign level budgets, forecasts and pacing, ensuring spend is aligned to targets and ROI

Paid search and paid media

  • Oversee and support the build, launch and optimization of search engine marketing campaigns, primarily on Google Ads and other major search platforms

  • Oversee and support the build, launch and optimization of campaigns in other paid channels, including paid social, display and YouTube, with a focus on lead generation and ROI

  • Develop and implement a structured testing roadmap for ads, audiences, bids and landing pages, and share clear learnings and recommendations

  • Proactively seek out and recommend new digital channels such as review sites, podcast networks and sponsorships that can drive qualified leads efficiently

Measurement, optimization and operations

  • Regularly monitor all paid digital marketing activities, optimize toward agreed KPIs such as CPL, AOV, and ROAS, and provide clear reporting and insight to stakeholders

  • Partner with Web Team to ensure accurate tracking and attribution, including tags, pixels, cookies, conversion events and audience lists

  • Work with internal regional teams, including Sales Development and Sales, to continuously improve lead quality, follow up and close rates from digital campaigns and to build feedback loops into campaign optimization

Content and SEO collaboration

  • Provide input on SEO strategy and tactics across on page and off page initiatives to align paid and organic efforts

  • Suggest and draft content for digital campaigns as required, including SEM ads, paid social copy, YouTube ad descriptions, and lead gen form copy

Experience You’ll Bring

Must Have

  • Previous experience in digital marketing with demonstrable results in driving leads and revenue, ideally in a B2B environment in the technology sector

  • 7 plus years of progressive experience in digital marketing, including at least 2 years in a people management role leading digital or performance marketing teams

  • Advanced experience setting up, managing and optimizing campaigns on Google Ads or other major search platforms

  • Solid understanding and practical experience with retargeting, custom audiences and personalization, including the back end setup of tags, pixels and cookies

  • Demonstrated experience driving conversions through digital marketing campaigns, especially SEM, with a strong focus on measurable outcomes and ROI

  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot or HubSpot to track, manage and report on leads from digital campaigns

  • Average to advanced skills in Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within marketing as well as cross functionally with Sales, Marketing Operations and Regional teams

  • Google Ads and Analytics certifications and other relevant platform certifications

Nice to Have

  • Experience running global campaigns, including working with regional teams or local agencies and managing translation or localization

  • Experience with additional paid platforms such as LinkedIn Ads and programmatic display

  • Persuasive ad copywriting skills and experience briefing or collaborating with creative teams

  • Experience with Asana, ClickUp, or similar collaboration tools
