A well-capitalized Canadian fintech scale-up processing over a billion dollars in annual payment volume is bringing its paid acquisition function fully in-house while simultaneously launching its mobile app. The company operates at the intersection of payments and consumer rewards, helping users extract more value from everyday spending.
This role owns paid performance across Meta, Google, and app channels with a direct line to revenue. You'll work alongside a Growth Product Marketing Manager who sets strategy and messaging; your job is to take that and scale it through tight iteration and fast feedback loops.
It's an individual contributor position with meaningful scope: full channel ownership, budget accountability, and an agency-to-in-house transition to lead from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid channel management: Own day-to-day execution across Meta and Google Ads, including campaign setup, bid strategy, budget pacing, and creative rotation
- App growth: Manage Apple Search Ads and Google UAC campaigns; own ASO strategy covering app store listing optimization, keyword targeting, and A/B testing
- Creative testing: Run a structured weekly testing cadence across audiences, creatives, and copy to drive continuous performance improvement
- Attribution and reporting: Own MMP configuration and maintenance; track CAC by channel and ROAS by segment; surface actionable insights that inform optimization decisions
- Conversion optimization: Collaborate with design on landing page and App Store page performance
- Agency transition: Audit existing paid accounts, lead the handoff from agency management, and establish in-house ownership with continuity
- 3+ years of hands-on paid performance experience in-house, with direct ownership of budgets and ad accounts
- Demonstrated expertise building and optimizing campaigns in Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Practical experience with app growth channels including Apple Search Ads, Google UAC, or MMP attribution platforms such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch
- Strong analytical capability: you pull your own data, identify anomalies early, and know which levers to move
- Comfort operating as an individual contributor with full channel ownership and no team to delegate to
- Your background includes fintech, financial services, or loyalty and rewards products
- You have hands-on experience running TikTok Ads campaigns or have explored the channel in a structured testing capacity
The base pay range for this role is CA$105,000 – CA$155,000 per year.
