The Opportunity

TC Energy is looking to add a dedicated individual in Calgary to support our Safety and Technical Services organization within Pipeline Integrity (PI) Engineering Services. This team provides engineering governance, technical authority, and assurance for Canadian and U.S. assets, supporting design, construction, operation, integrity, and abandonment activities across the asset lifecycle.

We are seeking students enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related program to support our multidisciplinary organization of engineers and technical subject matter experts, who are accountable for the safe, compliant, and reliable performance of TC Energy’s pipeline assets. PI Engineering Services is comprised of four teams: Pipeline Engineering Services; Materials & Coatings; Welding & Non‑Destructive Examination (NDE); and Stress, Geotechnical, and Trenchless. Together, these teams deliver lifecycle engineering support, functional oversight, and project execution for both integrity and capital programs.

Term lengths vary by 4-, 8-, 12-, 16-month opportunities.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in an Engineering or related undergraduate degree program with at least one semester of education completed

  • Enrollment at an accredited University, and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term
