What You’ll Do
Technical Support
- Lead the design, layout, and coordination of Above Ground Pipeline (AGP) systems and associated facilities
- Oversee piping and mechanical design and drafting using CADWorx and/or Autodesk Plant 3D
- Review and approve design deliverables to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with client standards and applicable codes
Collaboration & Project Execution
- Act as the primary design lead for AGP projects, working closely with Project Management, Engineering disciplines, clients, vendors, and contractors
- Support project planning through schedule input, man hour estimates, scope definition, and execution support
- Lead and participate in 30/60/90% design reviews and project meetings
- Identify and communicate design risks, scope changes, and potential schedule impacts
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all design deliverables comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Maintain alignment with regulatory requirements, industry codes, and Equinox best practices
- Promote a strong safety and quality culture throughout the design lifecycle
Technical Exposure
- Work on complex AGP projects including:
- Development Plans
- General Arrangements
- Plan & Profile Drawings
- Crossing and Loop Details
- Plot Plans
- PFDs and P&IDs
- Isometrics and 3D models
- Contribute to global workshare initiatives and collaborate with international design teams
- Support continuous improvement of design tools, standards, and workflows
About You
- Engineering Design & Drafting Diploma (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of EPCM experience, with mandatory Above Ground Pipeline design expertise
- Strong background in:
- Pipeline planning and routing
- Survey interpretation and alignment
- Pipeline layout and associated facilities
- Proven leadership experience guiding and mentoring designers and drafters
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, project driven EPCM environment
