Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Salesforce Platform Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, this role focuses on enhancing business functionality and efficiency through the administration of Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Salesforce platform as a service, providing timely support for user-reported issues.

· For this position, the expected salary range is between $55,000 and $70,000 annually. This range reflects our commitment to providing competitive compensation that aligns with industry standards and your qualifications.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:

  • Manage and configure Salesforce environments to meet business requirements.
  • Provide break/fix support for Salesforce applications and interfaces.
  • Assist users with Salesforce-related queries and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for Salesforce configurations and processes.
  • Work closely with multiple teams to refine business requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Accountability:

  • Ensure reporting of progress and escalation of issues, based on guidelines established for workgroup or project within scope.
  • Ensure presentation of information is professional, timely and accurate.
  • Ensure that work completed within scope satisfies the business and/or functional requirements provided and fits appropriately within Finning’s preferred solutions architecture.
  • Responsible for compliance with activities and controls required by Finning’s Change Management policies and procedures within scope of position.
  • Ensures that systems and changes implemented within scope do not expose Finning to unknown corporate risk.
  • Ensures that code within scope is properly managed and baselined between local workstation and development environments.
  • Represent the company professionally and ethically and maintain effective relationships with internal departments and staff while maintaining confidentially.

Knowledge:

  • Strong working knowledge of development tools, languages, and methodologies applicable to the assigned platform(s).
  • Sound knowledge of common development methodologies and ability to apply the knowledge in daily functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Finning’s development and related industry standards for the assigned platform.
  • Understands and adheres to Finning policies and procedures, including safety.

Education & Experience:

  • Post-Secondary degree or equivalent experience in education, business and/or information systems.
  • 0 to 3 Years Salesforce Administration experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator is a plus.
  • Microsoft DevOps and Visual Studio 2019/2022
  • Experience with Git
  • Desirable: Azure; Progressive Web Apps; Salesforce (Apex/VisualForce/Lightning), DevOps pipelines, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS/SASS
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce platform functionalities and capabilities.
  • Knowledge of data management best practices, including data quality, data governance, and data security.
  • Familiarity with CRM concepts and processes.
