The Opportunity!

The Portal Specialist is responsible for entering new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellation submissions, as assigned by internal functions to insurance carriers for the Personal Lines department.

The Portal Specialist also reviews application documents for completeness and accuracy before submission to insurance carries. The Portal Specialist is also required to track documents and the status of portal submissions conducting follow ups with insurance carries as required.

  • Standard office administration practices and procedures
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office
  • Superior keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work a structured processing environment
  • Adaptable to change
  • Good working knowledge of the Broker Management Software System.
