The Vancouver Electrical team is looking for a keen individual to continue the growth and lead the execution of some of the recently awarded projects. The projects range in scale and complexity, from smaller Functional Programming and Business Case scopes to major renovations and additions.Responsibilities & Qualifications
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership in all aspects of electrical engineering, including equipment selection and specifications, system design, layout, calculations, and field reviews.
Lead the design, engineering, and delivery of projects involving electrical systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.
Serve as the discipline lead on projects, operating with a high degree of autonomy and technical expertise.
Lead and develop the Electrical Team, including mentorship, supervision, training, and performance development.
Manage team operations, including workload planning, resource utilization, and forecasting.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, act as the firm representative, and manage key clients, stakeholders, and pursuits.
Lead business development efforts including proposal preparation, fee development, and contributing to GO/NO-GO decisions.
Monitor team and project performance to support achievement of annual business and financial targets.
Ensure quality management practices are implemented and continuously improved, with quality control embedded across all project deliverables.
Represent the firm in meetings, presentations, and industry engagements, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Work across a diverse range of project types in core markets including Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, Science & Technology, Aviation, Utilities Infrastructure, and Data Centers.
Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years design experience in facility design and construction
Experience leading and designing diverse buildings projects
Has led a team or mentored junior/intermediate staff members
Experience responding to RFPs and writing Business Cases
University degree, college/technology diploma in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PEng)
LEED® Accredited professional designation or other relevant rating or performance system is desired
Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $140,800 - $176,000 annually for this position and local market.
