Responsabilités

• Diriger le développement des technologies de Flow Production Tracking et de Flow Platform web playback dans la plateforme pour l'industrie du divertissement et des médias.

• Maintenir les technologies de suivi de la production et de lecture de la plateforme Flow à jour avec les normes et les tendances de l'industrie.

• Étendre la plateforme par le biais de nouvelles expériences d'application et de nouveaux services

• Participer activement à la définition, à la conception, à l'architecture, à la mise en œuvre et aux essais des applications.

Qualifications minimales

• Plus de 8 ans d'expérience dans le développement d'applications web (JavaScript ES6, Typescript, CSS)

• Expérience de la technologie de lecture des médias

• Expérience avec la technologie graphique web (Canvas, WebGL API)

• Expérience de travail dans la mise en œuvre d'interfaces utilisateur avec React, React Hooks, Context

• Expérience dans le développement d'applications SaaS de haut niveau sur AWS

• Expérience des technologies de tests automatisés telles que Cypress ou Jest

• Intérêt pour l'infographie et les mathématiques

• Preuve d'une pensée centrée sur l'utilisateur et d'une attitude de joueur d'équipe.

Position Overview

Autodesk's Platform and Production Management team is hiring a Principal Full Stack Developer (Web Graphics). You'll work closely with our media and entertainment customers and our product teams to define the next generation of solutions that bring creative teams together to work efficiently, do their best work, and impact millions. Reporting into our Senior Manager of Software Development, you'll be applying your expertise in playback technologies for Web browsers as well as their integration in a distributed Cloud Platform. This is an incredible opportunity to grow your own skills as you help us impact the productivity of hundreds of studios while learning cutting edge practices and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development of Flow Production Tracking and Flow Platform web playback technologies in the platform for Entertainment and Media Industry

• Keep Flow Production Tracking and Flow Platform playback technologies up to date with industry standards and trends

• Extending the platform through new app experiences and new services

• Play an active part in the definition, design, architecture, implementation, and testing of the applications

• Mentor and train other developers, sharing knowledge and best practices

• Align with cross-functional and remotely located teams involved in the project

• Fully engage into our Agile process and contribute to improving it

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing web applications (JavaScript ES6, Typescript, CSS)

• Experience with media playback technology

• Experience with web graphics technology (Canvas, WebGL API)

• Working experience implementing user interfaces with React, React Hooks, Context

• Track record of developing high-profile SaaS applications on AWS

• Experience with automated testing technologies such as Cypress or Jest

• Interest in computer graphics and mathematics

• Evidence of user-centric thinking and team player attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with backend technologies (Ruby, Go, SQL, …)

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $131,500 and $180,840. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
