About the Role

The AI Clinical Experience Principal is a product leader responsible for delivering an award winning Clinical experience focused on eliminating provider burn out.  The Product Principal will be sharply focused delivering a differentiated Clinical experience unlocking Tebra’s market opportunity and achieving exceptional net promoter scores. This is a unique opportunity to leverage artificial intelligence and industry insights to own and create the Clinical documentation strategy.  The primary focus of this role is to deliver the new Clinical product experience, while leading the Clinical Documentation & Chart squad, and empowering  go-to-market (GTM) teams with industry and product insights that allow them to design, build and launch solutions that resonate with customers and differentiate Tebra from its competition. The Product Principal position will directly influence the future of Tebra’s Clinical product and product strategy.

This role will play a critical role in advancing the modern Clinical product by leading Tebra’s modernization effort in close partnership with Engineering & UX partners. 

Your Area of Focus

  • Product Execution: You will define, build, and launch exceptional products
    • Feature Specification: You understand complicated product specifications, as well as the technical architecture, and can influence scalable technical solutions. Your specs reflect sophistication of market knowledge and user psychology/needs that more junior team members typically require more time to realize.
    • Product Delivery: You have substantial experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions, including build/buy/partner. You have an ability to weave together complex delivery arcs to satisfy different kinds of needs or strategic objectives over time. You enable your team to take a "speed wins" approach to building and shipping features that strikes the right balance between moving quickly and delivering effective functionality. You can make tough trade-off decisions that result in both a successful initial launch and quick, data-driven iteration. You can clearly connect your team's work back to objectives the management team cares about, helping the project team to clearly understand the importance of their work.
    • Product Quality: You create a quality first culture to ensure that your team consistently delivers high quality products.
  • Customer & Market Insight: You understand and fulfill customer needs
    • Fluency with Data: You can use insights you gather from the data to help drive roadmap planning and quarterly goal setting. You proactively think about how to present progress against those goals (e.g. building the right dashboards and reports) to a broad audience.  You can effectively translate insights into an understanding of the causal factors that drive product success.
    • Voice of Customer: You make user research a key part of developing the roadmap for your area of the product. You leverage user research to assess the impact of the roadmap, assess new areas of opportunity, and guide product iteration with the goal of maximizing customer value. You instill strong user research skills in your team. 
    • UX Design: You will have demonstrated success in delivering innovative and user-friendly customer-facing products/services with measurable impact, rooted in deep customer understanding.
    • Understand Market Opportunities & Competitive Landscape: Know and be able to communicate the market dynamics and competitive landscape. Understand where Tebra sits competitively, and be able to deliver an accurate SWOT analysis to drive the opportunities across our competitive landscape. 
  • Product Strategy: You deliver business impact via product innovation
    • Business Outcome Ownership: You will need to leverage extensive knowledge of your product, as well as, customer feedback, key data and analytics, and other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product.
    • Product Vision and Roadmapping: Experience creating and managing complex roadmaps with multiple dependencies outlining prioritization for the customer themes, technical needs, and design challenges to be delivered and you will be accountable to make final decisions on scope and prioritization relative to the product backlog. You will be accountable to create and manage product objectives and key results, key metrics for your product, as well as related P&L impacts.
    • Strategic Impact: You will lead the development of a comprehensive product strategy and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product domain. In addition to business strategy, you will focus on developing technical strategy, partnering with Engineering and helping the organization scale and grow in its ability to help customers accelerate their product experiences.
  • Influencing People: You take initiative and influence how we market, sell, and talk to our customers about the product and product advancements. You are an excellent communicator adjusting the delivery for varying levels of the organization. 
    • Stakeholder Management: As a trusted product advisor, you will be highly visible and requires coordination across many internal and external teams. You are seen as a leader and expert in your domain / product line, and should oversee and align with other internal and external teams.
    • Team leadership: You influence others around the organization as the expert on the product solutions and technology architecture. You will help build an environment that celebrates continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and mentorship. 
    • Managing up: Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence peers, key stakeholders and senior leaders (Directors+). Experience and interest in influencing a product organization to learn from your area of expertise.


Your Professional Qualifications

  • Must have 8+ years of experience in product, focused on software applications
  • Demonstrated success with Clinical workflows and product strategy, with in-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape.
  • Proven track record as senior product manager at a successful B2B SaaS / Cloud software business with agile product management experience 
  • Proven track record of executing complex product initiatives and processes with multiple stakeholders at senior and junior levels
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated analytical rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling 
  • A flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business trade-offs, generate out-of-the-box solutions and move through ambiguity 
  • Prior experience developing products in the healthcare industry is preferred

Remote Pay Range

$160,000$170,000 USD
