YOUR OPPORTUNITIES

  • Drive technical strategy and architecture across Nuna’s platform partnering with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders across different project teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions along the way. Communicating  effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment where engineers can learn, grow, and excel, leading  by example and cultivating  a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and mentorship
  • Facilitate cross-team communication and knowledge transfer offering technical leadership and architectural direction to multiple project teams, ensuring alignment with Nuna's overall technical strategy
  • Establish and maintain high engineering standards, ensuring  robust testing methodologies, adherence to security best practices, and adoption of modern software development practices and tools
  • Guide the development of scalable and robust solutions that meet the evolving needs of Nuna's growing platforms. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers across the organization, fostering their growth and development. Work as part of a team, not in a silo - at Nuna, we rise by lifting others!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend engineering, API design, and system architecture
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or similar languages
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies
  • Experience working in a consumer product company or similar fast-paced environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $223,000 to $273,250. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, and skillset.
