This position is Full time - Temporary. We expect the duration to be approx 2 years.
The anticipated pay for this position will be between $25-$30 per hour. Actual wages will be determined based on the candidates experience.Job Description:
Support End to End Procurement, and Inventory Management Function (40%)
Providing administrative support to the Procurement team o PO and invoice cleanup—reconciling data, resolving discrepancies with internal teams and suppliers, maintaining accurate records, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Buying (30%)
Procure goods/services from preferred suppliers to fulfill customer demand as well as business needs (Indirect and Direct spend) o Reviewing open purchase orders o Support Strategic Buyers with day-to-day functions
Provide back-up support for the Strategic Buying team members during vacation, or high-volume periods.
Inventory Management (30%)
Assist in monitoring stock, and maintaining accurate records and parts tracking/order systems o Collaborate with Inventory Planner and assist in inventory processes as required
Assist with non-Cat inventory returns and cleanup
Qualifications:
1-2 Years working in a Purchasing or production Environment or Equivalent
1-2 Years Experience with Ariba/Sage/DBS/Lawson system/MRP or Equivalent ERP System
Proficient in MS Office Applications
Strong Work Ethic and attention to detail
Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills
