The Opportunity 

The Product Manager is a strategic leader responsible for defining product vision, driving business outcomes, and translating market needs into scalable solutions. This role requires deep customer insight, cross-functional orchestration, and executive influence to deliver products that drive revenue growth, retention, and customer value across CentralSquare's government technology portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for assigned products
  • Build business cases and ROI models for product investments
  • Define success metrics (ARR, retention, adoption, cost reduction)
  • Lead customer discovery and validation activities
  • Translate strategy into clear problem statements and outcomes
  • Partner with Engineering on delivery tradeoffs and sequencing
  • Support Sales with positioning, pricing logic, and enablement materials
  • Represent the product in executive, customer, and board forums
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive business outcomes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Proven track record of driving business outcomes through product strategy
  • Deep understanding of customer discovery and validation methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to build business cases and ROI models
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences
  • Experience partnering with Engineering on complex product development
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across multiple teams

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in government technology or public sector markets a plus
  • Background in financial management or ERP systems
  • Knowledge of municipal operations and government workflows
  • Experience with product-led growth strategies
