The Agency

The Calgary John Howard Society (CJHS) is a charity that reduces crime and makes Calgary communities safer by helping youth and adults make positive changes and move away from criminal behaviour. CJHS is committed to restorative justice and an organizational environment that recognizes the dignity and worth of each person. CJHS values diversity and inclusion and welcomes qualified applicants from all walks of life.

The Program

The Employment Hub is a dynamic, trauma-informed, and client-centered program designed to support adults who are currently involved in, or have had previous involvement with, the criminal justice system. • Experience working with marginalized populations (asset).
  • Brain Story Certification (asset).
  • Current Criminal Record Check (CPIC) required (within the past six months).

This is a Full-Time, 40 hours per week position with benefits.
