Job Description

Texada is seeking our next experienced Project Manager to join our Customer Experience PMO team. In this position, you will be working in a fast-paced environment to oversee the successful planning, execution and delivery of complex software implementation projects. This position will be primarily customer-facing and will be focused on project management, risk management, application delivery, issue tracking and support of our SaaS business products.

Work location 

  • Remote position. Candidates in the GTA area preferred. Occasional meetings at Mississauga, ON Office. Working hours are 11:00AM-8:00PM or 12:00PM-9:00PM EST.

How you will be contributing

  • Develop comprehensive project plans for large, multi-phased engagements encompassing multiple software applications
  • Identify and communicate any project risks, issues and dependencies clearly and concisely to senior management and stakeholders, while implementing proactive measures to mitigate potential roadblocks
  • Collaborate with engineers, professional services consultants and customers to help interpret project requirements and track their implementation within the project timeline
  • Track project and application issues raised by the customer and provide regular and timely updates on status
  • Track project billing milestones and report their achievement in a timely manner to the PMO Manager
  • Operate as a strong team player who takes the initiative to ensure the success of the project, the team and the customer

What we are hoping to find in your background

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex enterprise software implementation projects
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and/or other similar project management software
  • Strong understanding of software implementation and delivery management
