Your role as a Psychotherapist

Dialogue is looking for a Psychotherapist to take part in our mission to help people improve their wellbeing. Reporting to Etienne Bolze, Manager, Mental Health Therapists and Psychotherapists, your role will be to empower our patients to talk openly about their mental health and create an environment free of judgment.

Psychotherapists have a Masters in an eligible field, and have obtained a psychotherapy permit (delivered by their province's professional order). Our Psychotherapists guide members through a short-term, goal-oriented, and solution-focused program. They may pull on multiple therapeutic approaches depending on the member’s need (CBT, SFBT, Humanistic, etc.). They work with members to outline a plan to conquer their goal within a mutually agreed-upon time frame. Want to join our exceptional multidisciplinary team in an evolving industry? Good news, we saved you a seat!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conducting video consultations with clients presenting mental health-related symptoms
  • Following up with clients to ensure progress in their care path with Dialogue
  • Participating in clinical meetings with other healthcare professionals (nurses, physicians, psychologists, and social workers)
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our mental health programs, clinical protocols and standards of practice
  • Collaborating with our Case Managers who assist you in your administrative tasks, such as booking appointments and finding resources or information
  • You will be responsible for patient safety in your member-facing role

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Comfortable providing consultations in French
  • A valid and active permit to practice psychotherapy in Quebec or another Canadian province
  • An appropriate malpractice insurance
  • 3+ years of experience as a psychotherapist
  • Availability to work a minimum of 8 hours (up to 21 hours) per week, and on evenings and weekends
  • Experience or strong openness towards telemedicine and learning new tools
  • A patient-focused approach and an affinity for short-term therapy
  • The desire to work in an innovative and fast-paced environment

Please note that as we serve customers across Canada, bilingualism is essential for this position. You are required to communicate in French.

At Dialogue, your well-being is our priority
Taking care of others also means taking care of our team. We’ve got you covered!

  • A fully funded benefits plan, including a wellness reimbursement program
  • Unlimited access to a variety of Dialogue’s programs for you and your immediate family
  • 4 weeks of vacation, 9 wellness days and 1 paid volunteer day
  • Access to a custom learning program, including an allocated budget for continuous external training
  • Short and long-term incentive plans
  • An optional parental benefits program
  • Qualifying permanent and part-time employees are eligible for a Group Retirement Savings Program (GRSP) with a matching employer contribution from their first day at Dialogue, in accordance with policy terms
