About the Role

HONK is looking to add a detail oriented QA Tester to assist in keeping product velocity at optimal levels. You'll join a well-established engineering team (Including QA) known for delivering high-quality code at a high velocity. At HONK the QA and software engineering team is integrated and work together towards the same goal. 

HONK is looking for a QA Tester to assist across it's parking platform from our payment processing kernel to the consumer facing mobile applications. We have invested heavily into our automation and CI/CD pipeline so most of our time and energy is applied to the higest value areas/most interesting, not regression testing.

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Define and maintain test plans
  • Test specifications for functional, regression and performance testing
  • Find clear reproduction steps for issues reported by customers
  • Verify builds for quality prior to production deployment
  • Translate high-level business requirements into test scenario
  • API Testing (RESTful/GraphQL)

Qualifications: 

  1. Good understanding of general QA methodology
  2. Knowledge of relational database concepts 
  3.  Hands-on experience testing and debugging mobile and web-based software
  4. Experience with Load, Stress, and Performance testing
  5. Ability to work independently
  6. 1-3 years of manual QA testing experience
