BlackBerry QNX has been a leading provider of operating systems in the embedded systems marketplace for over 30 years. Our products are used extensively in a wide range of systems: high-speed trains, in-vehicle infotainment, medical devices, advanced vision systems, and more. The BlackBerry QNX product Security Operations team is growing. We’re looking for talented individuals with an interest in cybersecurity and advanced embedded technology.

Job Duties:

• Work directly with development and verification teams to provide Cybersecurity support such as document/design/implementation reviews, fuzz testing, cybersecurity process guidance, security defect triage, etc.

• Undertake research projects, threat analysis and in-depth vulnerability analysis.

• Support product cybersecurity-certification efforts.

• Perform threat modelling on various components included in the QNX operating system

• Work with development teams to assess software defects for impacts to security

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to ISO 21434 and/or UNECE WP.29 R155

• Exposure to ASPICE and ISO26262

• Experience with fuzz testing, implementation assessment or pen testing

• Excellent communication skills

• Must be able to work without supervision

• C/C++ and Python
