The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will test game software, report issues, create test plans and scripts, and communicate status to teams.

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our cross-discipline team testing game software and reporting issues relating to functionality, playability, and fun factor. You will be creating test plans, guiding specific tests, and assessing issues pre and post launch.
Responsibilities
- Test software for functionality, reliability, and/or performance.
- Report bugs and defects into an online database, ensuring that all necessary information is included and easy to understand. Including tracking game stability and performance.
Contribute to the overall test planning, by creating, running and scheduling Test Scripts for your assigned game area(s).
In addition to developing test planning for this project, QA at BBI are expected to contribute to the overall development of the QA department.
- Effectively communicate the status of your assigned game area(s) to both Internal and External Production & Development teams.
- Perform risk analysis and escalate issues to QA management when necessary.
- Work embedded with the development team alongside functionality testing.
- Participate in review of requirements and designs, communicating concerns and/or risks to project stakeholders.
- Provide daily status updates and trends to QA leadership, production and development teams.
- Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is expected to be responsible for an entire game/scrum area.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a Quality Assurance role. inimum of 1 years experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- At least one shipped product.
- Experience with QA process and testing terminology.
- Experience with either VR game testing, PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and/or PS4/PS5 testing.
- Confident knowledge of business tools such as email, spreadsheets, word processors etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple audiences.
- Ability to work within a highly functional cross-discipline team.
Pluses
- Familiarity with 3D packages, or video game engines.
- Certification & guideline experience across multiple platforms.
- Experience with database software such as Jira.
- Knowledge of network multiplayer systems, embedded QA methodologies and test automation in general.
- Experience working with and/or playing RPG games.
- Experience working from home and communicating remotely.
