About the role

We're looking for a QA Engineer who thrives in fast-moving, dynamic environments. You'll be the voice of quality and the advocate for our customers, ensuring every release feels polished, intuitive, and reliable. This means going beyond checking functionality - you'll deeply consider the user experience, catch rough edges before our customers do, and push for improvements that matter.
Your team is a mix of developers, QAs, SDETs, PMs, and managers building together in a startup-like setting. Things move quickly, priorities shift, and collaboration is key. You'll work closely with engineers to test complex cloud applications, debug issues across environments, and validate features that may involve AI-driven behavior and large-scale data systems. Technical skills can be learned, but the mindset we value most is being proactive, curious, and obsessed with delivering a great experience to our customers.

What you’ll do

  • Perform regression testing.

  • Find and report bugs, and maintain the bug life cycle.

  • Create, extend and document test plans.

  • Perform exploratory testing for new and existing features.

  • Define and implement a testing strategy.

  • Help prepare product releases.

  • Participate in product management discussions, keep close track of how the product specifications are implemented.

Who you are

  • Experience manually testing desktop applications with a focus on diagnosing issues through API inspection and debugging.

  • Eagerness to learn: have a strong passion for learning and a curiosity about new technologies and approaches in software testing and development.

  • Break-it mentality: can identify, anticipate, and prevent subtle software defects and various corner cases where things can go wrong.

  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on how product quality impacts the customer experience.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and with a dynamic team.

  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement.

  • Experience with techniques for manually testing of web or cloud-based applications.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Preferred candidates will have:

    • Experience with techniques for manually testing Web and desktop applications.

    • Exposure to cloud platforms and understanding of concepts like clusters, nodes, or data pipelines.

    • Ability to debug or investigate issues in Kubernetes environments or BigQuery tables.

    • Familiarity with SaaS application integrations and testing APIs.

    • Understanding of cybersecurity or data security principles.

    • Background in startup or fast-paced product teams.
