Cardinal Health is seeking a positive individual to join our Calgary Distribution Center as a Quality Assurance Specialist.

Quality Management is responsible for the development and deployment of policies, procedures and programs designed to minimize risk, enable compliant business operations, products, and services, and drive uncompromised supply chain integrity.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:  

  • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards.
  • Execute on inspections, testing and release activities in Canada.
  • Review and process drug and NHP product return requests.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee on rework/relabeling activities as per protocols.
  • Maintain incident and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions to manage issue resolution.
  • Develop or update the procedures and work instructions to optimize quality programs.
  • Participate in site quality audits, (internal and external) as necessary.
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of the Cardinal Health Quality System for one or more Canadian distribution facilities, as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to cross-functional teams to ensure companywide compliance

This Job might be for you if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science related fields

  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the Health Care industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingual (English and French), preferred
  • Experience with project management is desirable
  • Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Strong understanding of GMP, Health Canada regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, multitasking and decision-making skills
