About This Role

                                                                                                         

By joining our Compliance & Continual Improvement Team as a Quality Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support the implementation, evaluation, and refinement of the integrated Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management System at a live flying operation located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

The role we are offering you:

  •  Coach, train, facilitate various levels of the organization in process development and compliance and conformance obligations through the interpretation of the QHSE Management System.
  •  Plan, perform, oversee and conduct internal & supplier audits to verify compliance to regulatory, contractual, airworthiness, surveillance and registration requirements including those indicated within ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CAE policy requirements and those required by the Technical Airworthiness Authority.
  •  Raise and support the management of corrective actions and preventative actions both internally and externally to address and prevent non-conformances.
  •  Be a continual Improvement champion by leading cross-functional teams with collective skills to solve complex organizational problems

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business or other related discipline and/or technical aircraft experience in lieu
  • An ability to communicate effectively at different organizational levels.
  • Diverse auditing background.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge Aircraft maintenance program requirements
  • Good knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 requirements.
  • Good understanding of project management.

CAE employees must be able to meet the requirements of the Canada Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and in certain cases, ITAR requirements. And also be able to attain secret security level status.
