Job Responsibilities:
Essential

  • Leadership experience within a shopfloor manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of manufacturing engineering with respect to one or more of these areas: die casting, metal forming, automated assembly, mechanisms, tooling fixtures and gauges.
  • Understanding of Quality Tools (SPC, MSA, PPAP, Control plans, Process Flows, 8D Methodologies),
  • Proficient in and learning the Business Operating Systems (IATF 16949)
  • Clear communication skills and proven reporting at all levels of the business


Desirable

  • Understanding of APQP and FMEA process
  • Experience in a medium to high volume manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of MES or similar production systems
  • Process knowledge (die castings, HT, CNC, Assembly operations)
