The Regional Sales Director, Western Canada is responsible for managing the assigned region, including meeting or exceeding order volume and revenue targets and operational budgeted costs. You will be responsible for ensuring the Account Managers and Account Executives work together synergistically to achieve the total regional goals and objectives.

Your role:

  • Develop a Regional Sales Strategy to achieve or exceed goals, metrics and expectations. Responsible for funnel, forecast, regional profitability and AOP performance.

  • Develop and practice effective coaching skills to create a high performing team.

  • Coach the sales team to meet and manage customer expectations throughout the sales process. Ensure customer issues are resolved through the escalation process.

  • Create and sustain relationships with senior players at major accounts

  • Build a strong internal network to support the delivery of value to our customers and execute deals. Maximize the customer experience by presenting a coordinated and efficient One Philips approach to the customer.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 10+ years of industry or sales experience involving complex bundled deals with 5+ years of sales management experience (ideally with Medical Capital Equipment).

  • Your skills include a consistent and successful sales track record & results: over quota performance, forecast accuracy, balanced portfolio, and competitive wins. Demonstrates superior industry knowledge on market trends, products and current Philips product portfolios. Financial analysis skills for doing ROI, NPV, ROA, etc.

  • You have a BS/BA in Business, Engineering, Associates or equivalent experience.

  • You’re a strong leader with executive level selling, negotiation and facilitation skills. Effective in building top performing teams.  

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $107,800 to $169,400 CAD plus company/fleet car.  The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, DC Pension, Flex Dollars (for HSA/PSA/RRSP), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Canadian work authorization is a precondition of employment.  The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, or Saskatchewan.
