Job Summary

Blackline Safety is seeking a Revenue Billing Coordinator to join our Accounting and Finance team. Our Company is expanding rapidly; this is a role where a motivated and talented individual can join a developing team in a fast paced and fluid environment. The position is full-time and is based at our Company’s head office in Ramsay, Calgary.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Accounting, with daily interaction with Invoicing, Accounts Receivable and other members of the Accounting & Finance team, the Revenue Billing Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of billings for customers in North America and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and tracking of monthly, quarterly and annual billings and invoicing, including lease invoicing, for customers in multi-currency environment
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email and mail regarding billing matters and coordinate with the Accounts Receivable, Account Management and Sales teams to facilitate resolution
  • Assistance with statement of accounts, customer annual spend and billing reconciliations
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Perform credit review, credit reassessment and approval of sales orders according to customer’s credit standing
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ experience in a similar role, preferably in a mid sized manufacturing/technology environment.
  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or Accounting with understanding of accounting principles and credit risk management.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems, specifically NetSuite ERP would be a strong asset
  • A good understanding of GST, PST, HST and US Sales taxes


Skills Required:

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, entrepreneurial and fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent organization skills in assuming responsibility for managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm with a focus on providing useful information to make good business decisions in a supportive environment.
  • and strong verbal and written communication skills.
