The Imaging Nurse Manager under the general direction of the Chief Radiologist, Radiology Director and Radiology Manager, will manage and coordinate department staff activities related to patient care, ensuring customer satisfaction and problem resolution, policies, procedures, standards and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Works collaboratively with Medical Imaging Management and others at all levels of the organization to create an environment of excellence, trust, and continual learning
  • Must be informed and maintain generalist nursing skill proficiency/competency in all aspects of clinical nurse responsibilities in an outpatient Imaging setting
  • Responsible for providing direct patient care by applying special clinical nursing knowledge and skills related to the Medical Imaging setting
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards
  • Oversight of multiple departments/locations and a high degree of patient complexity

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing and 6+ years supervisory/management experience
  • RN from accredited nursing program
  • Active, current Texas RN license
  • ACLS, BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider), PALS
  • 10+ years of clinical RN or Radiology experience with at least 6+ years supervisory/management experience
  • Proficient keyboarding and basic computer skills
  • Ability to use equipment and related supplies for a selected patient population
  • Ability to use mechanical devices, such as those used in CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy
  • Driver's License and access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field
  • CPR Instructor
  • Nurse Certification in work related field or ability to obtain within one year
  • 10+ years of nursing administration with associated clinical experience
  • Proven public relations and interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience with EPIC system including radiant, op-time, clinical environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
