As a Robotics Field Applications Engineer, you will join our Customer Success Team to help customers with initial setup, training, and ongoing support for our products. You will own the collection of customer requirements & feedback, work with internal engineering teams to improve the product, and identify new opportunities within the customer account. You will be instrumental in supporting the customers we serve, empowering the incredible people who are the backbone of the economy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Make service calls to the customer when issues cannot be resolved over the phone.
- Respond to customer texts and calls on the use of the system
- Work with the product and engineering teams to improve both the customer experience as well as the Field Application Engineer experience.
- Support local customer as needed. Regular visits required
- Preventative maintainance and troubleshooting
- In downtime assist other departments remotely
Minimum Quals
- 2+ years of industry experience demonstrating hands-on Hardware/Software skills, experience with manufacturing automation or similar field
- Demonstrate knowledge in troubleshooting and use of tools, hand tools, power tools, measurement tools, etc.
- Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively
- Ability to communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing. Documentation is key.
- Ability to solve technical problems effectively, efficiently, and independently
- Willing to travel up to 75% of the time and work with customers at their sites nationwide (mostly located along the east coast)
Preferred Quals
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or a related discipline), or equivalent professional experience
- Familiar with industrial facilities and equipment
- Experience resolving software and hardware challenges in complex cyber-physical systems
- Basic experience with ROS, Python, and/or C++ coding

Compensation for this position includes the base salary range of $60,000-$80,000 USD plus equity.
