Job Description

The Sales Engineering (SE) Co-Op will assist Engineers in all aspects of their work. The SE Co-Op will receive an in-depth look at the technologies that drive the Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) business at Motorola Solutions. In working closely with the Inside Sales Engineering (ISE) team, the SE Co-Op will receive hands-on experience in working with live VS&A demo sites and learning the SE’s role in the pre-sales cycle. This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals that are eager to learn new technologies, solve unique and ever-changing problems, and have an active role in the Solving for Safer ecosystem unlike anything else in the industry.

The SE Co-Op will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Assist in maintenance of the Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) Demo Sites

  • Tier-one troubleshooting of VS&A Demo Site issues

  • Assist in implementation of new features and hardware in VS&A Demo Sites

  • Manage and distribute demo licenses

  • Stay updated with the latest VS&A releases

  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers on preales designs and quotes

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree with a graduation date on or after May 2025

  • Preferred emphasis in technical degree

  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiences

  • Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment

  • Prior customer facing experience is desired
