The Opportunity 

Everyone has a story to tell, and Adobe helps Government agencies do just that. Adobe’s Digital Experience suite is one of Adobe's fastest-growing businesses and the Sales Leader for Public Sector will lead sales and key strategy for Adobe’s Government business in Canada. This leader is a mentor as well as a coach and is a true evangelist for the needs of the business. 

Our software is used by Canada Public Sector customers for digital transformation in their public facing engagement to constituents, to other agencies across government, to their employee intranets, and to mission environments that support our country. Our enterprise software and cloud services make, lead, and measure digital content in electronic documents and digital media, using forms, workflow, content management, analytics, and information assurance. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Drive revenue for Adobe Digital Experience business in select Canada Government accounts and territories 
  • Deliver performance against goals/quota consistently and predictably 
  • Lead pipeline creation and progression through the sales cycle 
  • Lead a team of 5-7 Account Directors with passion and discipline 
  • Hire, retain and coach Account Directors in sales process 
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and partners 
  • Track, monitor, and accurately forecast business across the territory 
  • Improve overall customer satisfaction in assigned accounts 
  • Collaborate across highly matrixed organization 

What You Need to Succeed 

  • 6+ years leading high-performance teams servicing government accounts 
  • Proven enterprise software sales experience within the Canadian Public Sector 
  • Validated self-starter mentality with a specific plan to “own” your business 
  • Dedication to personal responsibility and expectation of performance 
  • Passion, energy, great attitude, and a confirmed plan for building and running successful sales teams 
  • Empathy and high EQ to do it the “right” way 
  • Success in selling solution-based SaaS offerings 
  • Superior customer-facing attributes both internally and externally 
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to "win people over" 
  • Work successfully in a team environment, collaborating closely with all other organizations within Adobe including Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Support, etc. 
  • Willingness to travel 20%
