This isn't a job for a manager who sits on the sidelines. We're looking for a proven sales leader-a true player-coach-to lead our Switzerland Named Sales Team. You'll be a high-impact, hands-on leader, driving the team to hunt and close multi-million dollar deals with the region's largest enterprise and Fortune 1000 accounts. As a Sales Manager on the DACH team, you will own the end-to-end success of the Switzerland Named Sales Team. This is a player-coach role where you will be expected to not only manage but actively mentor, coach, and strategize with your team on their most critical deals. Your mission is to double down on our growth with a relentless focus on hunting and winning new logo enterprise accounts. You will be directly accountable for driving significant revenue growth, building a world-class team, and solidifying Cloudflare's market position in Switzerland.
The position will require leadership that spans go-to-market strategy development, managing Enterprise Account Executives and key account planning program development and implementation, executive relationship mapping and alignment, cultivating deep levels of trust and product co-creation, balancing short term with long term sales cycles and collaborating extensively cross-functionally to bring to bear product, marketing, support, success, solution engineering and channel onto our highest growth potential accounts. The goal is cultivating delighted, referenceable, multi-million dollar (ACV) large enterprise Cloudflare customers who obtain business value from today's portfolio and our future roadmap.

- Pipeline Generation: Instill a "hunt" mentality and a proactive approach to building and accelerating a robust pipeline of new enterprise logo opportunities.
- Deal Execution: Provide hands-on coaching and strategy on complex, multi-million-dollar deals. You won't be just a manager-you'll be the deal quarterback, actively involved in everything from discovery to negotiation.
- Forecasting Accuracy: Implement and enforce a rigorous forecasting methodology to ensure predictable and accurate results for the business.
Examples of desired skills, knowledge and qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing and scaling a high-performing enterprise sales team. Candidates must have been a top-performing individual contributor prior to moving into leadership.
- Over-Quota Achievement: A consistent history of leading teams that significantly exceed quota (e.g., 120%+ of quota achievement). We are looking for a winner.
- Player-Coach Mentality: Demonstrable experience in a hands-on leadership role, actively participating in deal strategy, customer meetings, and negotiations.
- Tough but Fair Leadership: The ability to hold people accountable to a high standard, manage performance, and make difficult decisions when necessary.
- Strong Business Acumen: Experience leading teams that sell complex solutions to C-level executives in large enterprises across various sectors.
- Fluency in German and English required, and additionally French preferred.
