  • Read and interpret blasting and coating specifications, work orders, and technical data sheets
  • Maintain blasting media, environmental, and quality control logs as required by the project
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, troubleshoot common issues, and complete minor repairs
  • Operate safely in confined spaces, at heights, and in remote camp environments
  • Where qualified, support or perform spray polyurethane foam (SPF) application as project needs require
  • Travel to remote project sites for camp-based rotations as scheduled
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work area in both shop and field settings
  • Follow all GrizzlyTrek and client site safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
What You Bring

  • Valid H2S Alive certification
  • Valid Standard First Aid certification
  • Valid Confined Space Entry certification
  • Valid Fall Protection certification
  • Class 5 driver's license (Air Brake endorsement preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of surface preparation standards, blasting media, and environmental conditions
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data sheets, blueprints, and project specifications
  • Comfortable working in remote camp environments on rotational schedules
  • Physically capable of lifting equipment, climbing, and working in confined spaces
  • Strong attention to detail, quality-focused, and committed to a zero-incident safety culture
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spray polyurethane foam (SPF) application experience
  • SPFA PCP (Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance Professional Certification Program) credentials
  • NACE or SSPC coating inspector or applicator certifications
  • Experience with high-performance industrial coatings (epoxy, urethane, zinc-rich, intumescent)
  • Aerial Work Platform, Boom Lift, or Scissor Lift certifications
  • WHMIS 2015 and TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certifications
  • CSTS-2020, OSSA, or Energy Safety Canada Common Safety Orientation
