Are you passionate about technology and determined to put cyber hackers out of business?
We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Security Solution Architect for our Calgary branch! In this consulting and leadership role, you will design, architect and implement solutions within the Long View security portfolio.
A Day in the Life:
- Partnering with clients to understand their goals and crafting security solutions that make a real impact
- Designing and implementing secure architectures focused on business continuity, risk management, and IT resilience
- Building solutions that stick — designing, documenting, and supporting smooth handovers through great training and transition materials
- Driving projects from kickoff to completion as a trusted subject matter expert
- Supporting pre-sales conversations and helping shape new opportunities
- Joining forces with colleagues across Long View to drive alignment and keep projects on track
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT security, spanning systems, networks, servers, and cloud
- A strong foundation in security architecture and practical implementation
- Real-world expertise with Microsoft security tools, including:
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Defender for Identity, Endpoint, and Office 365
- MCAS, PIM, Conditional Access, etc.
- Solid experience with:
- Network and endpoint protection
- Digital forensics and investigations
- Cloud security architecture (Hub & Spoke, subscription design)
- Security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS)
- A good understanding of Linux environments, and a working knowledge of scripting and automation
- Amazing communication skills — with the ability to translate technical detail into real-world value for clients
What Makes You Extra Awesome:
- Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, CCSP, TOGAF, Cloud Architect or Azure Architect
- Experience securing DevOps environments and automating infrastructure
