Senior AccountantMultiple Locations (San Francisco, New York, Toronto, Remote) • Full time • Hybrid/Remote

Our Finance team plays a critical role in supporting our rapid growth and ensuring operational excellence. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support our General Ledger team with all processes and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance organization at a high-growth AI company where you can build accounting processes from the ground up in a fast-paced technology environment.
In this role, you will:Support the GL team with comprehensive accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and audit preparation
Assist with system implementations and process improvements for accounting infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable accounting processes
Partner with external auditors and coordinate audit processes
Develop and maintain comprehensive accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Drive continuous improvement of accounting infrastructure and reporting capabilities
Take ownership of special projects including process optimization and automation initiatives
Have a background in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) OR strong operational experience at a high-growth technology startup
Possess 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility
Demonstrate experience with system implementations and process improvements
Show strong analytical skills and ability to perform complex reconciliations
Take a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
Have a strong desire to build accounting processes in a fast-paced technology environment
